BIOS:
Dr. Diya Bajaj is a medical Scientist with MD and DNB qualifications in Pathology and more than 14 years of professional experience in pathology after MBBS. She has extensive experience in diagnostic histopathology and cytopathology, with a special interest and expertise in Neuropathology. Her academic and professional interests include CNS tumour pathology, precision oncology, molecular diagnostics, and integration of histopathology with ancillary investigations.
She is particularly interested in advancing the role of pathology in research, disease characterization, tumour profiling, and evidence-based patient care. With a strong background in diagnostic pathology and a focused interest in neuropathology, she aims to contribute to translational and collaborative biomedical research in tribal population particularly in the areas of CNS diseases, cancer research, molecular pathology, biobanking, and development of quality-oriented diagnostic and research frameworks.
