Scientist B

ICMR-National Institute of Research in Tribal Health

Profile

Dr. Sandeep Kumar is Ph.D. from Department of Biochemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He has an experience of 10 years in the field of chemoprevention using experimental mouse model of colon and oral cancer. His current focus is on screening, characterization and evaluation of phytopharmaceutical important bioactive compounds isolated from herbal formulations used by Tribal communities of Central India. Additionally, he is looking into the molecular mechanism and metabolic alterations fostering chemoresistance in tumor cells.
